Do I need a soil report?
Getting hold of a soil report before purchasing a section can save you money in the later process, and a soil report is necessary to determine what ground conditions are like. At Indelible Homes, they can assist with that.
What should I consider first when I choose a suitable house plan for my section?
You can choose the floor plan that provides privacy, achieves good sunlight and takes advantage of any views. For the style of the house including roof lines, doors and windows sizes, cladding, colour etc, you can make your own decision or our experienced consultant can assist you for the whole process. Then all you need to do is sit back and watch how we turn your dream house into reality.
Is our signed contract going to be a fixed cost contract? Or are there any extra costs on top of that?
The contract signing is the final amount to build the house. If you are to upgrade any items,then there may be additional cost.
Do I need a building consent for a fence?
If your fences are over two meters, then a building consent is needed.
What about if the section we are going to purchase is steep? Any suggestions for that?
What about if the section we are going to purchase is steep? Any suggestions for that? The building cost will be higher than a flat section. At Indelible Homes, our experienced sales consultant can visit the section with you prior to you purchasing it. This service will be free of charge, and we will indicate any additional costs plus possible designs.
Can Indelible Homes provide a list of inclusions?
Yes, we will present a clear list of what is included for the price you pay for, and all the information you need.
What does the payment structure look like, and how about the deposit and final payment?
Each house is slightly different, and basically it depends on the size of the property. We can show a rough example:
